Join us for the third Preview of the season, “Enlightenment”, featuring excerpts from Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and John Wineglass, acclaimed local composer who will be debuting a World Premiere composition at the weekend’s concerts.
Friday, January 25th at 11:30 a.m. at the California Grill, 40 Penny Lane, Watsonville. $35 per person. The preview will be held upstairs from the restaurant, in the Springfield Terrace Banquet Room (there is elevator access). A buffet lunch of tri-tip of beef and fresh grilled salmon will be served. No-host bar.
Previews are our opportunity to meet members of the League, potential members and guests. You’ll also hear our Maestro, Danny Stewart, discuss his approach to the music. Guest artists are Jeremy Tai, Cello and John Wineglass, Composer.
Reservations must be made in advance. Please reserve by Saturday, January 19th to attend this wonderful educational afternoon. The 20/20 group is planning a tour of the AMERICAN HAT MAKERS, followed by an optional luncheon at ELLA’S AT THE AIRPORT. The tour is limited to 20 and should be most interesting so SIGN UP SOON.
The mission of AMERICAN HAT MAKERS which makes all sorts of hats for celebrities and entertainers around the world, is to provide their customers with distinctive, one-of-a-kind artisan hats made by hand with the finest materials produced in the United States. They are dedicated to treating their customers and employees with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to bettering our community through service, philanthropy and open-heartedness.
As with our guitar making tour last year, attendees will be amazed that we have such an abundance of world-renowned businesses in our own back yard.
ELLA’S AT THE AIRPORT is directly across from the tour site and arrangements have been made for our group to sit together for an informal no-host lunch after the tour.
